S.K.Saigal has conceived “Aqua- Geo Environmental Consultants”( AGEC) based on the experience gained by him in ground water sector by working as Senior Ground Water Scientist for more than 34 years in Central Ground Water Board/ Central Ground Water Authority, Govt. of India.
C.S.KHOKAR
During 39yrs in industry, Mr C.S.Khokhar worked on wide spectrum of ground water subjects ranging from saline water management studies in Haryana under UNDP to sea water intrusion in the South East coastal region. His expertise is in the field of ground water management using mathematical modelling techniques, ground water exploration using geophysical logging, resistivity survey, seismic refraction techniques. He has exposure to ground water issues in different geological setups across India and many other counties.
Dr. S.K. Kamra
Dr. Kamra is a recipient of the most prestigious Rafi Ahmad Kidwai Award of ICAR as well as CSSRI- Excellence Award in individual scientist category and of Groundwater Augmentation Award of Ministry of Water Resources (GOI) and Hari Om Ashram Trust Award of ICAR in team leader category. Dr. Kamra is a Fellow of the distinguished Alexander von Humboldt Post Doctoral Fellowship (Germany, 1995- 97) as well as a Fellow of Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) and National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS). He was also selected as one of the 10 Asian experts for International Program on Groundwater Governance at Kansas University in USA. Dr S.K.Kamra had about four decade active research career, followed by two years as Emeritus Scientist after retirement, at Central Soil Salinity Research Institute, Karnal (India). His major contributions are in developing and propagating subsurface drainage and groundwater recharge technologies for the management of saline soils and groundwater across India. His work on groundwater recharge wells in Haryana, Punjab, UP and Gujarat has found large scale acceptance amongst farmers and government agencies.
ADITYA SHARMA
Aditya Sharma a past recipient of Fulbright-Nehru Master’s fellowship has about 10 years of work experience in automobiles, water management and environmental applications. He holds a MSc. in Environmental Fluid Mechanics and Water Resources from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA and a B.E. in Production Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.
Aditya’s research interests are Remote Sensing, GIS, Hydrology and Decision Support Systems for end-uses in environmental sector. His professional work is at the crossroads of GIS, Earth Sciences, Applied Mathematics and Spatial Science. He leads the GIS, remote sensing and AI/ML integration along with the specific area of hydrology and time-series modeling.
